Smart homes with amazon’s alexa available with new Comdain home builds
At Comdain Homes we believe artificial intelligence (AI) and technology will be a key drawcard in homes of the future. What may seem like a novelty, or cool, like an electric vehicle charging dock is now, will become as routine as electricity or a phone line. As one of Victoria’s most trusted custom builders with 30+ years of building experience, we’re future proofing our homes now.
Ahead of the curve as usual, Comdain Homes, along with one of Melbourne’s leading home automation experts, has been building homes with Wi-Fi and Alexa built-in since 2017 to make our clients’ lives easier. We can install smart state-of-the-art CBUS technology during the build process so it’s all ready to simplify your life when you move in.
Voice activated smart home systems are now available
Comdain Homes can include a voice activated smart wired system featuring Alexa voice control in our custom built homes.
With the right hardware, smart home systems allow you to voice activate the operation of things such as:
- TV and audio
- Heating and cooling
- Personal Assistant
- Ordering items from Amazon
plus much more.
You can be cooking in the kitchen and notice you have run out of milk, “Alexa, order milk”, or you want to turn the heating on, “Alexa, change the temperature to 22 degrees” and Alexa will carry out your request.
“Alexa, open the blinds”
Half a million Australian households already have a smart speaker (it was the fastest growing sector in 2017) and this figure is predicted to rise to around 3 million by 2022. White goods and appliance manufacturers are jumping on to this boost in popularity and are manufacturing more and more goods with in-built Bluetooth internet connectivity.
As the home owner, all you will need is an internet provider and your smart home is ready to go.
“Alexa, I want a smart home”
